Criminal record: Please send us the following requirements by email: ottawaconsul@minaffet.gov.rw .

• Written request for a Criminal Record Clearance Certificate addressed to the Prosecutor General of National Public Prosecution Authority, P.O BOX 1328, Kigali-Rwanda
• For Rwandan Nationals: You have the option to do it yourself on www.irembo.gov.rw, all will be required to make an account. If through the embassy please provide a copy of  valid Rwandan passport and Rwandan ID 
• For Foreigners who lived in Rwanda temporarily: provide copy of Foreigner’s Identity Card (MANDATORY), copies of all Rwandan Visas,and/or Residence Permit held in Rwanda. If you do not have some of the documents mentioned, please add all supporting documents such as a work contact, internship contract (proof of working in Rwanda), Lease contract, academic record(proof that you did your studies or completed your studies  in Rwanda) for a certian period of time.
• Fill the application form  (DOWNLOAD IT HERE)
• Digital (soft) passport picture with a white background (max. file size 900kb.)
• You must have a VALID VISA  for Canada, even if your work/study permit is valid for longer you must make sure your visa is also valid, otherwise the service will not be granted.
