Burial permit/Body repatriation: Requirements must to be sent to the Rwanda High Commission via Mail, E-mail or in person:

Please note that the form below must be completed from Sections A -D, and submit the required additional information 

• An application letter to Rwanda High Commission requesting for a burial permit from either a relative (next of kin) or funeral home.
• The death certificate 
• The certificate for shipment of a body outside of Canada.
• The preparation report of the body from the mortuary services including; certificate of non-communicable disease and certificate of embalming.
• The copies of identities ( from Canada and from Rwanda) of the persons (scanned if by email) who passed away
• Tariff: free of charge 
• Prepaid, traceable, and self-addressed Canada Express return envelope (if by mail)

Burial permit will be issued and sent to you via E-mail, Mail or in person as per your request.
